Grace

So what is Grace truly? The Bible doesn't give a 'definition'. About 159 times it appears in the scriptures (King James Version). Needless to say it is an important concept. The first time it is used is for Noah, just before God brings judgement on the rest of the world. Noah's experience with Grace is a interesting one. Think about it, his was a 'baptism' that occured while others drowned in the same element. And it also says that Noah found this Grace because of faith (Hebrews 11:7). It hasn't changed much.
I think maybe the Biblical definition may be found in John's gospel account. In the rest of the gospels we see no mention about grace (except Luke saying it was on Jesus) by Jesus or any of the disciples. John mentions it three times in the first chapter, but nothing else. And in that chapter; I think is the key. I was asked one time, why the gospels didn't mention Grace (especially Jesus never speaks about it) and I replied, 'well I think it is because as John says, Jesus is full of Gace and Truth,' and I believe that is the key.
What is the definition of God's Grace, Biblical Grace, it is Jesus. He shows us what Grace is, how it acts and what it says.
GOD BLESS
Tony
