ABOUT ME

I consider myself a preacher, first of all.  I am also a husband, father, funeral director, and podcaster.  Podcasting has become my main way to communicate the message I think God has given me.  That message includes unity within the body of Christ and fellowship with like minded believers in Christ.  Please use the contact page to contact us.  Also, listen to our podcast, found

here.

I'm not new to writing, even though this is my first book, 'A Journey To Grace'.  I've been a featured editorial writer in my local newspaper and have been writing off and on since I was old enough to write.  In high school and college many of my teachers encouraged my creative writing.

I have been preaching since I was 16 years old, now over 30 years ago, and have over 10 years of experience as a pastor.  After a seven year absence from the ministry, I returned to Preaching in 2014.

I've has been a member of a few gospel singing groups, served in youth ministry and helped in other aspects of minstry in many different local churches. During the summer you can find me at Church Camp with the church's youth group.

I've been a licensed funeral director since 1991,with over 27 years of experience in the funeral business and dealing with death, dying and the process people go through.

Born and raised in the hills of West Virginia, I'm the the son of Otto and Sue Vance.  I'm privelaged to call Robert my brother and I'm so blessed and honored to have married the love of my life, in 1988, to Te-Te. We have two wonderful (adult-ugh!) children, Lydia and Caleb.
