So, in thinking about coffee, it occurs to me how amazing this little bean has become, especially in American culture. It is an icon of Americana. It is a phenomenon of epic proportions.

Why do we love coffee? Is it really the taste, and I love the taste. Or is it the Aroma? Truthfully, is there anything that smells better than the first moment that vacum seal is broken and the aroma of coffee fills the room? The Scriptures say, 'all good and perfect gifts come down from the Father of Lights'.

Coffee, in pots or cups, are in almost every household. Those who don't drink coffee, love the smell. Many of my friends were put on to coffee by my love for it. As a college student, my daughter has found the pleasure of caffeine!

Caffeine, is that the secret? Is it the CAFFEINE that keeps drawing me! A drug, according to wikipedia, 'Caffeine is a bitter, white crystalline xanthine alkaloid and a stimulant drug' ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caffeine ). So is that the rub, the misery of it, we are all 'drug heads' looking for our next fix.

And so our dilema is this, stop or continue.

Think on this, while I go have another coffee...

GOD BLESS
